#7 “wrong way”

Sometimes you pass something day after day, week after week, and in this case, for a few years without ever really noticing it. On a very standard bike route through Overland Park, Kansas, I was going in the right direction, the sky was the right blue, and the sunlight hit the red sign in just the right way. The structure on the right side of the frame is the under edge of a major freeway, and this sign exists in two very different worlds at once. From this perspective, it is towering above a quiet and secluded pathway, but directly next to the sign you have hundreds of cars roaring past it at eye level every minute. This frame is a perfect example of perspective in play.
