#6 “alabama 66"

I took this photo on a small county road in Alabama, just outside of Hamilton. This sign stood next to a long-abandoned gas station at a T in the road, and as the song says, “Sweet Home Alabama, where the skies are so blue,” the red sign and black outlining jump out of the frame. The rust spots show the age of an otherwise fantastic preservation of a decades-old piece of history.
