#4 “sold here”

On July 4th, I took the family to waste some money on some fireworks to shoot that night. The Kansas sky had pink, orange, yellow and blue shades, and the two-story-tall inflatable gorilla was the most American thing I had ever seen. One particularly interesting thing about this scene is that I believe these gorillas should be holding a giant Black Cat firecracker into the sky, but this one is a bit more “fists in the air,” as if he is about to fight a giant midwestern lizard.
