I have never had a photo cause so much commotion on my Instagram. Photojournalism should capture what is interesting about a moment and present it without bias; this photo is precisely that. Americana is, by definition, what makes America what it is. This sign is located off the highway in Blue Springs, Missouri, and I couldn’t look away. The yellow against the light blue sky is as perfect as any two colors can be.
